What is a Virtual Tour?
A virtual tour is a compilation of panoramic images (photographs) seamlessly stitched together, which allows a user to experience the scenery as if you are really standing on location.
What can a Virtual Tour be used for?
A virtual tour can be used to display anything you wish to have viewed over the internet or via CD. For example: cities, attractions, properties, restaurants, parks, resorts, golf courses, etc.
Do I need a website to have a Virtual Tour?
You do not need a website. The virtual tour will be hosted from our servers and can be viewed 24 hours a day 7 days a week 360 days a year and can be e-mailed or burned to CD or posted to the MLS.
What do you need to view a Virtual Tour?
Technically you’d only need a computer to view a virtual tour because the tours can be burned to CD, but for effectiveness a virtual tour will reach the highest amount of people over the internet. Unlike video which take up large amounts of bandwidth – Getz Virtual Tours are viewable even over a dial-up connection and there are NO required downloads or “plug-ins” which are required to view the virtual tour. This means that your potential Client’s will just “click” and watch the tour unfold.
How can a Virtual Tour be distributed?
A virtual tour can be placed onto your MLS listing, website or other websites. The virtual tours can also be e-mailed or burned to CD and handed out for viewing at a later time. When someone views the virtual tour, they will also be able to e-mail the tour to friends and family so that they may view the tour.
What websites can the Virtual Tour be shown on?
The possibilities are endless. If you’re a Real Estate Agent, your virtual tour can be placed onto Homes.com, HomeSeekers.com, Realtor.com and the list goes on and on. If you’re selling your home yourself, you will also be able to list your tours on websites such as FSBO.com, ForSaleByOwner.com and many more. If you’re a Vacation Renter, you can place your virtual tour on VRBO.com or VacationRentalByOwner.com and many more. And, Getz Virtual Tours will upload the tours to these sites for you – provided you have a current account or listing with the website.
How quickly will my tours be on-line?
Our scheduling is on a first-come, first-serve basis in order to make it fair to all of our Clients. Once we photograph your virtual tour it will be able to be viewed typically between 24 to 48 hours.
When will my tour expire?
Your virtual tour will expire after 12 months. Each virtual tour can be renewed on an annual basis for a minimal hosting fee.
How many scenes can be included in each tour?
Our virtual tours support up to 30 different scenes in any combination of full 360, partial 360 or still images, but if you’d like more – we can accommodate.
Can you change the skin and text colors in my Virtual Tour?
Yes. You can choose any color you wish for the skin and text colors.
